Companies are reacting to the crisis in Japan. The price of a barrel of oil has fell below $100. Gas companies are not raising prices all over the U.S which is putting a tole on all our wallets. The economy in Japan is taking a major blow from the recent disaster. Investors dumped commodities for safer assets amid worries that the widening disaster in Japan could lead to a global economic slowdown. The disaster could send our economy deeper into a recession.
The average ticket price for professional football games increased 4.5 percent this year to $76.47, even as some teams struggled to fill every seat. So many Americans love watching the game of football so many people will have to look for the extra cash to see their teams play. The NFL is a billion dollar industry with players being paid millions. The NFL is struggling with players being paid too much and fans not filling stadiums. I think i have only been to one NFL game when i was really young so this doesn't really affect me but now that i've been watching more football i would like to see one so these rising prices aren't great.
